My blog is open for business!

After getting everything set up, I’ve got it running on paparascii a static site generator I built with Clojure that you can find at lambda-lifters/paparascii on GitHub. It’s designed specifically for AsciiDoc format, which gets me past a lot of the frustration of markdown’s limitations flexibility for writing structured content.

I built paparascii to be streamlined: fast builds with AsciidoctorJ, clean HTML generation, and a built-in development server with zero dependencies. I’ve also built in a tag and (basic) template system.

paparascii suits my MVP for blogging…​ I now need to look a bit harder at stylish and, dare I say, substantial, content.

I’m really looking forward to using this space for journaling, blogging, and sharing thoughts as they develop. Now that the impedence of “there’s nowhere to put it” is gone, I can just focus on writing.
